Mitch is the business. His relevant experience includes:
Engineering Degree in Building Sciences
Commercial HVAC, Plumbing, & Electrical - Design & Project Management
Taught to remodel houses by his father at a young age
Pretty darn good at 3D modeling of buildings
Well studied in energy performance, LEED, Passivhaus, all that stuff
A decent normal hardworking guy raising a family

The remodel job included getting plans approved by the City, and replacing support walls with posts and beams. It’s a BEAUTIFUL job. The posts & beams have a slight white wash to them that I LOVE. And the hand rails are so updated and modern. My house was built in the 1950’s. Mitch is the best.”

Hello, I'm Mitch Mallett-Hiatt.
Once an HVAC and plumbing system designer for commercial buildings, I made a full pivot into the residential construction business in 2021. But why this shift?
Why Construction?
It's about making a real difference - in buildings and in the lives of the people who call them home. I've studied Architectural Engineering with a focus on building energy consumption, covering everything from structural engineering to electrical and lighting, even acoustical engineering. But the core of my education? It's all about building better.
Building Better: It's Personal
Every single project is personal to me. I care about the details - whether it's ensuring a window replacement is done perfectly, or designing a low-cost energy-efficient weekend cabin. These aren't just jobs to me; they're opportunities to help people live better.
